Racism by whites to African Americans causes bad health.
Obama must up health care of African Americans to recognise the cause of so much of health problems. Its not our fault. Centuries of bad treatment by a society built on slave labor has effect.

Racism is too many blacks in jail
What the fuck is goin on in America?
Racism is bad and its showing in who they be putting in jail.
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics 2008 “At midyear 2008, there were 4,777 black male inmates per 100,000 black males held in state and federal prisons and local jails, compared to 1,760 Hispanic male inmates per 100,000 Hispanic males and 727 white male inmates per 100,000 white males.”
Blackvoicenews.com has reported, “The soaring use of imprisonment in California has not been borne equally. Human Rights Watch has shown that African-Americans in the state are incarcerated at nearly 6 times (2,475 per 100,000 versus 421 per 100,000) the rate of whites. Hispanics are incarcerated at 4 times the rate of whites.”
Obama is in the House but the struggle is not over.

Tough love
"Tough love" is the headline following Obama’s NAACP 100th anniversary speech.
I agreed with much of the speech (particularly the parts on parenting, family and education) but dislike the way the media has sliced and diced the speech in order to create the impression that Black Americans are the sole cause of all their problems.

Goodbye Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson is dead. What did he mean to us? Was he good or bad?
Jackson narrowed his nose and magically changed his skin colour. The cosmetic enhancements and skin lightening which diminished his African facial features were troubling and comics even joked about him turning into a white woman. Jackson's skin colour changed from nutmeg to vanilla, he claimed he suffered from melanin-diluting vitiligo but many believed he intentionally bleached his skin to look white.
As a community we always talk about racism but we tend to be the biggest self-haters ourselves. Jackson's image problem was made in honky TV, they tell us its no good to be Black, they make us feel bad about ourselves. With Obama on the scene that will change.
The child molestation charges were bogus, a chance for gold diggers to get some green. Honky TV grabbed the chance to dis him to bring down a major Black man in America.
Being Black in the United States of America is complicated to deal with and Jackson was clearly struggling with what it is to be African in America.
Jackson opened the door for Black American performers to feel comfortable making the type of music they wanted to make and not be boxed in by standard definitions of black music. He should be remembered for that gift he gave us all.

Racist Police Department pays us millions
Baltimore Police Department has agreed to a multimillion-dollar settlement in a lawsuit of institutional race discrimination.
Police dismissed internal charges against about 40 officers accused of wrongdoing as a result of an audit.
Baltimore PD made unequal treatment of officers for racial and political reasons.
The lawsuit settlement will be $4.5 million, including a $2.5 million total payout to 15 plaintiffs who contend that black officers were punished more harshly than their white counterparts.
Marvin L. "Doc" Cheatham, president of the local NAACP said "It's clear, and has been clear for a significant period of time, that there were definitely problems within the department. We're just saddened that the city took this much time fighting."
With Obama in the lead things are changing.
